The Second Annual Pan-Chinese Design and Aesthetic Academic Forum took place on April 27-28, 2021, at the prestigious Soochow University, located in Jiangsu province. This conference was an unprecedented event that convened generations of scholars engaged in discourses related to the past, present, and future of design discipline and aesthetics. The conference also focused on the teaching of design and aesthetics and their relations to people and the environment, as well as how the interconnections of these disciplines can positively impact people's lives. The event was significant, with the participation of over 70 academics and researchers from more than 40 universities
