About Us

Welcome to ChinAmericanArt, a website dedicated to exploring the fascinating cultural interactions and artistic exchanges between China and the West, with a particular emphasis on Chinese-American connections. Our founder, Ani Margaryan, is a Ph.D. in Arts and Humanities, and her mission is to highlight the intriguing ways in which the visual arts have been influenced by the encounters of East and West. Specifically, we focus on the works of American artists from the late 19th and early 20th centuries, who were inspired by Chinatown, Chinese people, and Chinese culture. We’re excited to share our insights with you and hope you find our content both informative and engaging.
